Asset Accountant - 9 Month FTC

Job DescriptionOverviewWe are looking for an experienced Asset Accountant to join our team in Chippenham for a 9 month FTC. This is a new role and as a part of the team, you will be managing a team of 2 Assistants. The right applicant will take full ownership of this new position and be integral in driving forward and developing the fixed asset and leasing accounts.This is a hybrid role with the requirement to be in the Chippenham office on Tuesday and Wednesday each week.Salary - £ CompHow will you contribute?Manage the Fixed Asset process, ensuring ongoing conformance and accounting via Oracle systemManage the Lease Management process, ensuring ongoing conformance and accounting for IFRS16 Leases via Oracle SAS systemOwnership of the development and running of the IFRS16 Lease moduleEnsure that both IFRS16 leases and non-qualifying lease information is accurate with recharges and reconciliations actioned on a timely basisOwnership of the Bi-annual reconciliation of the Fleet management system to IFRS16 qualifying leases and non-qualifying leasesManage specific accounting and budgetary requirements for IFRS16 accounting for PropertiesSupport the Financial Services Manager with the HY/YE audit requirements.
