Assembly Operative

Careermakers Recruitment are recruiting for a Trainee Panel Builder to join our ever growing client on a permanent basis. 

As an Trainee Operative, you will play a crucial role in constructing panel products to meet company and client standards, while ensuring a safe working environment. Utilizing your technical skills and experience, you will contribute to the efficiency and quality of production processes.

Duties:

• Construct panel products according to technical drawings and specifications.


• Safely operate hand and power tools, including drills and jigsaws, while wearing appropriate PPE.


• Assemble enclosures and mount components following the provided instructions and quality standards.


• Interpret schematics and engineering drawings to produce wiring sets and looms as required.


• Measure, cut, bend, and punch copper components accurately based on engineering drawings.


• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain a high standard of workmanship.


• Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.


• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient production processes.

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program in a relevant field such as engineering, or equivalent work experience.


• Significant experience in panel building or a related area, demonstrating proficiency in the use of hand and power tools, interpreting technical drawings, and adhering to safety protocols.


• Understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes related to panel building.


• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures applicable to the workplace

Shift: 08:00 - 17:00,  Monday to Friday

Payrate: £11.44 per hour (NMW)
