Assembly Operative

• Position: Assembly Operative - Permanent


• Salary: £24,792


• Location: Lewes


• Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm - 40 hour week

We are recruiting for an established Engineering and Electronics company near Lewes who are looking for an Assembly Operative to join them. Candidates need to have strong attention to detail and be keen to learn and progress in a manufacturing and production environment so an interest in technical, electronics, electrical or similar sectors if preferred and previous experience in manufacturing or a warehouse environment would be beneficial but not essential as full training is offered.

The position includes:

• Using attention to detail to assemble and build signs


• Following relevant production procedures, standards and reading engineering documentation


• Using hand tools including crimp tools, wire strippers, powered screwdrivers


• Hand soldering, cable preparation and crimping


• Occasionally inspecting or testing products

This is a full time role working 40 hours a week 7am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

You'll need your own transport due to location.
