Assembly Fitter

My Shrewsbury based client are looking for an Assembly Fitter to join their team on a fully time and permanent basis.

Duties:-

• Carry out the mechanical building, modification and repair of company products to customer exact specifications.


• Carry out fault diagnoses on all company products and related components.


• Dismantle all types of product and components, clean and prepare to the required standard ready for rebuilding.


• Replace all relevant parts as appropriate to ensure products are professionally repaired and put back into running order.


• Ensure that all machine settings are correct and relevant testing is completed before machines are despatched.


• Advise management on all aspects of mechanical engineering requirements as appropriate.


• Ensure required standards of housekeeping and tidiness are achieved and maintained at all times.

Key Skills:-

• Essential you have worked within an industrial / mechanical assembly role previously


• Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative


• Good technical skills


• Can do attitude and willing to learn

**The client are looking to relocate to Wolverhampton and offer a car share facility at present from Wolverhampton to Shrewsbury should you be interested in the role. If living in the Telford or Shrewsbury locations you must be prepared to travel to Wolverhampton once the company relocate**.
