Title: Assembler

Duration: Temporary - Potentially Temp - Perm

Rate: �11.44 - �12.00 per hour

Location: Basildon

Job Overview: Are you skilled with your hands and have a keen eye for detail? We are currently seeking a Temporary Assembler to join our team. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling various components to create high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products accurately
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Use hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work space to ensure efficient work flow.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Accurate recording of documentation
  • Collaborate with team members to complete assembly tasks within specified time lines.
  • Communicate any issues or concerns regarding assembly processes to supervisors or managers.
  • Assist with other tasks or projects within the production department as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in assembly or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and diagrams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery.
  • Willingness to learn and follow directions.
  • Availability to work temporary shifts as required.
