An "Outstanding" Primary in the heart of Hackney are looking for an Aspiring SENCO for a September 2024 start. This will be a full-time & permanent post paid directly through the school.

Your week shall consist of the following:

3 Days - Aspiring SENCO
2 Days - PPA Cover

As a Aspiring SENCO what will your role entail?

Working alongside a very experienced & strong SENCO
Helping complete EHCPs / Assessments
Providing additional support where needed to ensure progress is being made for all SEN pupils.
Work alongside a range of professionals.
Step in as the main SENCO if needed.
The school are willing to also pay for the successful candidates SENCO qualification.

Person Specification - Aspiring SENCO

Experienced Primary Teacher
Strong understanding of the Upper KS2 curriculum
Desire & passion towards supporting SEN
Must hold UK QTS
Graded as good / outstanding in recent observations
