We’re looking for a Platform Lead to join the ASOS Technology team to lead and own the capabilities within the Customer Marketing technology landscape that involves enhancing our infrastructure and expanding our use of data to improve audience targeting and reporting of our performance across media channels. This critical role is part of the departments leadership team and reports directly into the Platform Lead for Customer Marketing.Job Responsibilities:Being the recognised authority for your domain and technology approach. Identifying enhancements, innovations and continuous improvements within the platform, supporting the improvement in conversion, value, revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction, scalability, security and maintainability.Building and leading your teams on delivery; seeking to bring out the best in all team members (both permanent and third party), aligning their responsibilities with their strengths and career goals, seeking high engagement, performance and retention.Managing and owning a roadmap with clear milestones and dependencies that best balances the business and technology objectives. Working with your teams and other dependencies to align on delivery against those milestones.Managing third party engagements, ensuring we have the right mix of permanent and third-party engineers in each area.Proactively monitor production performance to help guide future development and opportunities for technical or functional improvement.Build and improve relationships with 3rd party suppliers. Ensuring we can maximise value from those partnerships.Own and continuously improve the delivery process, including testing, build and deployment and code quality. Embrace and advocate Agile ways of working in technology and the wider business team.Collaborating with stakeholders and product managers to identify and understand problems to solve, continuously reviewing and prioritising roadmap and backlog itemsWork closely with other platform teams/ project management/ release management, which may be dependent on or impacted by changes in the platform scope or technical implementation.Job Requirements:Strong stakeholder relationship management and influencing skills, proficient about understanding the range of stakeholders, customer and technical perspectives in all you do balancing complex and competing needs.Experience working with Google Cloud and or Microsoft Azure cloud vendorsA strong background in software delivery in a data driven environment who understands the Software Development Life Cycle having previously worked in Project Management / Agile Delivery roles.Strong financial/budget management experienceWorking in a large and complex Technology department with a variety of technologies and agile way of working.Experience in building and executing complex road maps with the ability to communicate strongly with both technical and non-technical audiences.Leadingboth internal and external teams and working with a combination of onshore/offshore/nearshore and remote working teams.
