Level Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor through to Lead Asbestos Consultant
UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy, who provide the full range of asbestos management services, is currently looking to recruit an experienced surveyor to join their Midlands office. The successful candidate will join a successful team on site staff and will be travelling across the Midlands / M1 region, undertaking management, demolition & refurbishment surveys to a varied site base. Applicants will hold a minimum of the P402 qualification and experience working for an established asbestos consultancy.
Candidates will have good access to the M1 and Midlands area. Areas considered include; Derby, Nottingham, Mansfield, Loughborough, Burton upon Trent, Stone, Stafford, Cannock, Tamworth, Leicester, Coventry, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Northampton, Daventy and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications / Experience:
- BOHS P402 or equivalent RSPH qualification.
- Experienced in undertaking to Management, Demolition, and Refurbishment Surveys to UKAS standard.
- Confident in the use of PDA.
- Experience using TEAMS / TRACKER software.
- Good working knowledge of HSG 264.
Duties:
- Undertaking Management, Demolition / Refurbishment surveys to contacts across the North East region.
- Working across Commercial, Industrial and Domestic sites.
- Bulk Sampling of suspected ACMs.
- Producing accurate asbestos site reports, using TEAMS / TRACKER and handheld PDAs.
- Providing a high level of customer service to the company's clients.
