Midlands based asbestos consultancy are currently recruiting for experienced asbestos site staff to join their successful team. At a minimum the candidate will hold the P402 and asbestos surveying experience, with the ideal candidate also holding the P403/4 qualifications and analytical experience. The successful candidate will be working across the Midlands / Staffordshire area and is an excellent opportunity for those who are currently traveling extensively to cut down on travel and work more recently.
Candidates based in the Midlands / Staffordshire area, locations considered include; Stafford, Stone, Stoke-on-Trent, Cheadle, Keele, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Market Drayton, Whitchurch, Uttoxeter, Cannock, Telford, Burton upon Trent, Walsall, Lichfield, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Solihull, Coventry and the surrounding areas.
Experience
- At a minimum will hold the P402 asbestos surveying qualification.
- Will ideally hold the P403/4 asbestos analytical qualification.
- Practical experience working either as an asbestos surveyor or surveyor / analyst.
- Fully conversant in HSG:264 and/or HSG:248 guidelines.
- Professional attitude to work and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
Duties (depending of qualifications held):
- Undertake asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
- Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on a variety of properties including commercial and industrial.
- Overseeing contractors on site ensuring work carried out is in accordance with asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
- Collating and producing comprehensive asbestos reports.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with clients.
