This role would suit someone with strong attention to detail. You will be carrying out sample analysis, using PLM and stereo microscopy working in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines. For the successful candidate, our client can offer career progression, company pension scheme, generous holiday allowance and company bonus scheme.Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bradford, Wakefield, Batley, Halifax, Ilkley, Huddersfield, Otley, Castleford, Barnsley, Doncaster, Sheffield.Experience & Qualifications:" Must hold the BOHS P401 qualification." Experience working within a laboratory for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy is beneficial to the role." Keen eye for detail." Excellent communication and time management skills." Will have in depth knowledge od relevant HSG guidelines.The Role:" Promptly logging samples onto internal systems upon arrival to the laboratory." Ensuring that samples are bagged and labelled correctly." Using PLM and stereo microscopy to carry out sample analysis." Filling out job sheets upon completion of analysis." Ensuring that all equipment is correctly calibrated." Always Following safe working practices within the laboratory." Working in accordance with relevant Health and Safety guidelines." Ensuring internal systems are accurate and up to date."
