Artworker / Graphic Designer- Waltham Cross - £25K-£35K - based onsite -
We have an exciting new creative role for either an enthusiastic entry level Artworker or a more experienced Graphic Designer, depending on your level of experience. Fresh graduates with a creative degree will be considered alongside more experienced Graphic Designers. Additional languages such as fluent fluent French would desirable but not essential.
Reporting to the General Manager you will form part of the In-house design team based in Hertfordshire, Waltham Cross where you will work onsite from Monday-Friday.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate good skills in Adobe Illustrator and ideally Photoshop for entry level and around 3-5 years experience for the Graphic Design role.
As an artworker, some of your key duties will include, applying pre-designed artworks to new cutter guides for header cards, swing tags, boxes and other types of packaging ready for print. You will carry out all admin duties necessary for the role. There will also be opportunity to participate in small design projects, therefore a commercial sense of design is essential.
Candidates with an interest in photography will also be an asset and key qualities will include great attention to detail and a collaborative team approach.
This role will suit an entry level graduate looking to get into a design role and develop within a family run business. Possibilities to develop to the next level as a designer within the next 2-3 years.
As a Graphic Designer you will have 3-5 years experience in this field and bring a level or expertise and creativity. You will be a talented designer required to see ranges through from initial design concept, to final stage of applying designs to product and packaging.
