The London AI Campus aims to elevate AI literacy among sixth-form students and the wider community, emphasising accessibility for underrepresented groups through a student-centred curriculum. Located on Charrington Street, the campus will also feature primary computing facilities and an out-of-hours Opportunity Centre.About the RoleThe London AI Education Campus Director will spearhead this innovative venture, enhancing curriculum activities for post-16 students in maths, physics, and computer science borough-wide. Responsibilities include managing the new Opportunity Centre located at the London AI Campus. This role supports Camden's Education and STEAM strategies, providing a preparatory enrichment program for students interested in AI careers and study. The position is part-time, with an additional teaching option in Camden schools.Key Responsibilities:Post-16 Enrichment Curriculum: Development and delivery of a comprehensive enrichment curriculum for AI-focused A-level and T-level students, in collaboration with tech industry partners.Opportunity Centre: Promotion and management of the Opportunity Centre, offering technology access and enrichment beyond school hours.Building Management: Overseeing the use and maintenance of the London AI Campus building, ensuring it meets the diverse needs of its users.About YouYou are an innovative leader with a background in maths, physics, or computer science, eager to drive this new initiative.
