Role and Responsibilities

As an Art Teacher, you will have the incredible opportunity to:

Design and deliver engaging art lessons that cater to the needs of students across different age groups and abilities.

Foster a love for art, encouraging students to express themselves creatively and explore various art forms and techniques.

Provide guidance and constructive feedback to help students develop their artistic skills and techniques.

Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes collaboration, respect, and appreciation for diverse perspectives.

Organise and support art-related activities, exhibitions, and events to showcase student's work and celebrate their achievements.

Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to integrate art across the curriculum, encouraging interdisciplinary learning experiences.

Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the field of art education, incorporating innovative approaches into your teaching practice.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching certification.

A degree in Art, Fine Arts, or a related field.

Demonstrable experience teaching art to students of varying ages and abilities.

Passion for art education and a genuine desire to inspire and empower students.

Strong knowledge of different art forms, techniques, and art history.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Organisational and time-management skills to plan and deliver engaging lessons effectively.
