Art and Design Teacher

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Art and Design Teacher to inspire and engage our students in the creative arts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various art forms and techniques, a deep understanding of design principles, and the ability to bring out the best in each student.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Art and Design to students of varying abilities.

-          Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and artistic skills.

-          Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for the arts.

-          Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them improve and grow.

-          Organize and oversee art projects, exhibitions, and other extracurricular activities related to art and design.

-          Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience at the school.

-          Stay updated with the latest developments in art education and integrate new ideas and technologies into the curriculum.

Requirements:

-          Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

-          Bachelor’s degree in Art, Design, or a related field.

-          Experience teaching Art and Design at the secondary school level.

-          Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-          A creative and innovative approach to teaching.

-          Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Desirable:

-          Master’s degree in Art Education or a related field.

-          Experience with digital art and design tools.

-          Previous experience in organizing art exhibitions and events.
