Area Technical Specification Sales Manager (Roofing)



Full product and survey training will be given. Sales experience and experience in either roofing or similar construction, specification surveys, roofing product merchants is perfect. 



Main Purpose of Role:




  • To identify and target new clients, customers, and business opportunities.

  • As a member of the team, you will work closely with colleagues to promote the business and drive opportunities in the region.

  • You will be required to travel within your geographical remit and to undertake surveys which may require a degree of accessing and working on roofs.

  • Overall to maintain, develop and grow the business within the region.



Key Requirements for Role:




  • Strong Sales & Good understanding of customer relations

  • Knowledge and experience in either construction, surveys, building merchants sales. 

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to problem solve.

  • Time management and planning skills.

  • Basic I.T knowledge



Key Tasks:



• Arrange sales meetings with prospective new clientele including Building Surveyors, Architects, Social Housing, Local Authorities, Main Contractors, Roofing Contractors, and Direct Clients.



• Maintain regular contact and develop relationships with your client base.



• Source and write specifications and collate calculations for the Alumasc Roofing range. of waterproofing.



• Promote, ascertain and deliver a range of CPD’s and company presentations to clients and customers.



• Arrange material prices for roofing specifications for approved contractors.



• Achieve agreed sales target and budget for your region.



• Ensure awareness and information regarding any new roofing product range, systems or offer is provided to existing clients and customers.



• Maintain regular contact and attend selective meetings with the sales team to identify opportunities and share information.



• Prepare monthly report on region regarding sales, projects, risks and industry and competitor insight.



• Collate documents, lists and other requested information regarding the Region as and when required by the regions Director.



• Ensure all company training modules, documents etc are regularly updated and maintained.



• Provide training and assistance with new clients, customers or employees when required.
