Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Manager required to join a leading manufacturer of Hydraulic and Mechanical products.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Manager will operate remotely, covering the UK, selling and managing key accounts within the Fluid Power sector via distribution channels and end users / OEM channels.
�
The successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Manager will ideally have experience selling, servicing, manufacturing, or managing key accounts within Mechanical Engineering such as hydraulics, pneumatics, steering equipment, lifting equipment, pumps, motors, hoses, valves, cylinders, power packs, gearboxes, or similar Fluid Power / Hydraulic / Power Transmission products.

Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Manager Role

• Managing a number of key accounts via distribution channels and OEM customers in various industries.
• Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling various Hydraulic / Mechanical Engineering related products including steering gear, pumps, motors, hoses, valves, cylinders, power packs, and related Hydraulic / Mechanical products.
• Maintaining sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
• Promote engineering, remanufacturing, rework, repair capabilities within markets such as rail, marine, defence, offshore, construction, hydraulics, and more.
• Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
• Working autonomously and remotely covering the UK
• Liaise with various engineering departments.

Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Manager Requirements

• Experience as a Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within Engineering.
• Experience selling product or service within a mechanical engineering / manufacturing environment such as steering gear, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressed air, pumps, motors, hoses, valves, cylinders, power packs, gearboxes, capital equipment, rotating equipment, or similar Mechanical Engineering / Fluid Power products.
• Experience operating within markets such as rail, marine, defence, offshore, construction, hydraulics, and more.
• Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable engineering manufacturer.
• Full clean driving license.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across the UK.
