Ref: JR1729Job role: Area Sales ManagerIndustry: Electrical ManufacturerArea Coverage: London within the M25 / South of the river ThamesWorking hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pmSalary: £38,000 - £45,000 + bonuses + car allowance + mileage paidRhodium Consulting has a great opportunity to join an electrical manufacturer and distributor within the electrical industry selling into the electrical wholesale market.They are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated sales person with drive and ambition to cover the area of South London inside the M25. You will ideally live within your sales area.The ideal person will have a successful sales career with either field sales experience within the electrical wholesale industry / electrical manufacturing industry OR internal sales experience with the ambition and desire to take up your first external sales role.The Role:• To develop and implement sales strategy within the wholesale/contractor market• Establish strong working relationships with existing key customer accounts and work closely with these customers to effectively service their requirements and identify areas for mutual profitable growth.• Maximise sales opportunities and proactively seek new business• Visit existing customers within your target area to maintain and develop your sales• Monitor, plan and take appropriate action to ensure sales targets within your area are reached• Monitor market trends and competitor activity• Selling into national and independant electrical wholesale businesses• Liaise and collaborate with the National Sales Manager and Director.The Company:Due to investment within the business, the company has ambitious plans for future growth.Well known brand in the circuit protection range of electrical productsGood stock holdingSalary from £38,000 to £45,000 depending on experience + bonuses (monthly and annually) + car allowance25 day holiday + bank holidaysAll applications are dealt with in the strictest of confidence.Rhodium Consulting Ltd is a niche recruitment consultancy specialising in wholesalers, merchants and distributors within the building products sector.
