Area Sales Manager – Electrical Wholesale Distributor

A market-leading £1 billion UK distribution group is looking for a motivated Area Sales Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where you can make an impact and build strong B2B relationships with customers across the North West and Wales.
You’ll be joining a leading super distributor of electrical products belonging to a global group of companies who employ over 1,700 people throughout the UK. With year-on-year growth, they are a long-established business with a fantastic reputation and are a key supplier to the UK electrical wholesale market.
Role Responsibilities
As an Area Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Being at the forefront of representing the business by both winning new business and growing existing accounts
Meeting sales targets and increasing the profitability of the business
Presenting, communicating and negotiating with a wide range of customers
Managing your customer accounts and diary

As an Area Sales Manager, you will receive:
A starting salary between £35,000 – £40,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
An uncapped profit share bonus

Requirements
To be successful in this Area Sales Manager role, you should have:
Sales experience ideally within the electrical wholesale / manufacturing / distribution sector

Strong commercial awareness
