With a focus on creative thinking and entrepreneurial spirit, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Of Communications with all aspects of marketing for a selection of venues in Edinburgh, St Andrews, Perth and Broughty Ferry. This role will be based in Glasgow for 3 days per week, with 2 days per week working from site, and therefore would be suited to someone who has their own mode of transport.
This role includes but is not limited to, the development and implementation of campaign strategy, support with copywriting and content for campaigns, checking and maintaining website copy and information, briefing and managing your own area social media manager, and attending regular site meetings with management. This is a key role which will require creative flare as well as strong leadership and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

The Role:
Venue Marketing- create and maintain a lasting impression amongst customers, improving sales and market share for our portfolio of venues via creative marketing and PR solutions, as well as identifying and actioning opportunity where marketing activation can have a positive impact on sales issues and opportunities.
Generation of copy and briefs for digital and print use which is of the highest quality, and a reflection of that particular brand. This requires you to be highly creative and imaginative, with excellent written and interpersonal skills. A keen eye for detail is a must.
With a strong understanding of producing creative that has commercial principles in mind, you will provide briefs and direction to our design and digital team. You will help to ensure workload is appropriately prioritised and completed to deadlines.
You will work alongside Head Of Marketing to develop and implement marketing strategy- picking out key retail and seasonal opportunities throughout the year, and presenting creative and impactful solutions to generate higher footfall and sales via these campaigns.
You will help build meaningful relationships with our in venue teams and give them the support they need by monitoring and assessing sales trends and creative and rolling our marketing activity based on that. You will attend meetings and venue walkrounds with our Operations teams in order to ensure our marketing presence in-situ is relevant, impactful, and of the highest quality.
Skills & Experience:
Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent.
Have at least - 2+ years of marketing or project management experience in an agency or similar paced environment
Able to produce copy for use across the digital and physical space which is on brand and of the highest quality
A strong and maintained interest in the Hospitality sector including but not limited to restaurants, bars and hotels
A genuine interest in creative content, with good understanding of the latest marketing trends across advertising, digital, social media and more.
Exceptional organisational skills, including the ability to co-ordinate departmental workloads
Strong presentation skills, including the ability to pitch your ideas and help key stakeholders understand our vision
Work toward tight deadlines whilst producing a high standard of work
IT literate including email management, scheduling and filing
Eloquent, enthusiastic, and always willing to learn
Able to work on numerous projects simultaneously
Measures of Success:
Measurable success in KPIs, including but not limited to an uplift in footfall and interest for key retail events, increased digital engagement inc. social media channels.
Successfully championing key projects to ensure they are delivered on time, to budget, and of the highest standard, ensuring no opportunity is missed.
Ultimately improve output and quality of wider dept. due to hands on support, direction and feedback. Ensuring where needed you gather, organize and prep all content from other teams to ensure for smooth and optimized work through for our team.
