A luxury French beauty brand is on the hunt for a dedicated Area Manager to be based in the Midlands. Stores include John Lewis, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Brown Thomas and more.
An overview of your responsibilities:
Manage, motivate and lead a team within a designated area to increase sales and meet company objectives
Manage stock levels and make key decisions about SKU levels in each account
Analyse sales figures and forecast future sales with seasonal targeting
Manage counter staff through recruiting, monitoring, coaching, reviews and appraisal
Report monthly to Commercial Director on productivity issues
Manage the payroll process and administration
Deal with staffing issues including recruitment, quarterly reviews, yearly appraisals, disciplinary meetings
Training on counter procedures and company induction
Reporting weekly to Commercial Director on turnover from each account and feedback
Identifying floor behaviours and trends
Review all databases to ensure all material is GDPR compliant
Initiate all possible ways to create other areas to promote the brand
Ensure all paperwork and administration are sent and received in a timely manner for the area
All counter rotas reviewed then authorised monthly
Monthly review of all NSV budgets and stock holding
Implement Company Marketing strategy
Manage and participate to quarterly out of stores event to recruit new customers
Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, ideally in the beauty industry. You will be able to recruit, motivate, and develop a team to achieve sales goals and company objectives. Effective verbal and written communication, strong analytical abilities and team management skills are essential. You are required to have excellent sales and data analysis skills, be able to handle payroll and admin processes and have good knowledge of stock control. Marketing knowledge is advantageous.
With a strong work ethic and great organisation, you’re able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritise your workload. Your problem-solving skills help you to identify issues, analyse data, and make sound decisions to address challenges.
