Head of FranchisingJob SummaryPepe’s Piri Piri (Pepe’s) is the leading Piri Piri chicken franchise in the UK with over 190 franchised stores nationwide. This is an exciting field-based role within Pepe’s Head Office team. The key role of the Area Manager is to visit Pepe’s allocated franchised locations and undertake internal store audits and compliance checks, while ensuring stores are following all of Pepe’s operational procedures and policies. You would also be assisting Pepe’s to open new stores by supporting the head office team with franchisee training, producing accurate reports and working with stores to improve performance and Brand Standards.Duties and Responsibilities1.
Internal Store Audits and compliance checks·
Visit Pepe’s stores in your region, following an agreed schedule to ensure each store is visited as required by Head Office.2.
Complete store reports·
For each store visit, complete a store audit report professionally and in line with Pepe’s operation procedures and policies.3.
Training·
Support the Pepe’s Stores Director with franchisee training and store opening.4.
Outsourced Mystery Shopper and Audit reports·
Review outsourced mystery shop and store audit and email with action points to stores, highlighting required actions.·
Escalate any issues to Pepe's Head of Franchising.5.
Monitor follow up actions for all Mystery Shopper and Audit Report·
Ensure stores take action to resolve issues and respond to you in good time.·
Escalate any stores who do not take desired action.6.
Operating procedures and Policies·
Communicate all Pepe’s Policies and relevant information to Franchisees.·
To be a primary point of contact for all franchisee queries and be the conduit for franchisee’s obtaining the necessary information from the team where required.·
To take ownership over ensuring you obtain resolutions to all Franchisee requests and update the franchisees at every step.·
Ensure all store marketing activities are implemented in each store each month.·
Collating all relevant information so there is a record of all communications with franchisees.·
Working with the Head Office Operations team members to assist you when required.7.
Team Cover·
Support Head Office field team when required, which may include to cover Annual Leave, Sickness and any other absence.8.
Ad Hoc Requirements. Reporting and Internal Meetings·
You will report to Pepe's Head of Franchising.·
Provide monthly update during head office team meeting.
