Role Description:

Our Client is a growing Soft Services company who focus on providing an excellent cleaning service within the public sector predominantly. They have exciting plans for future growth and development across the UK. As Area Manager, you will oversee the delivery of exceptional cleaning standards which exceed client expectations across 20 sites. The ideal Area Manager will have previous experience and knowledge of the Cleaning/FM industry, and will have excellent communication, organisation and people management skills.

Responsibilities:

  Manage the day to day operations and contract delivery to clients

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure that the team provides a first class service to the client

  
  


• 
  

  Develop existing business and client base, promoting the company by raising awareness of all its services and increasing contract value

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain high standards across the portfolio

  
  


• 
  

  Regularly review performance standards

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to and comply with company polices

  
  


• 
  

  Recruit, train and motivate staff, managing your team and resources to meet the daily schedules and business requirements of clients at all times

  
  


• 
  

  Implement innovative and continuous improvement plans to ensure service always exceeds client expectations

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare reports, attend client meetings and communicate effectively with Managing and Operations Director

  
  

Personal Requirements:

• 
  

  Experience of the Cleaning/FM industry

  
  


• 
  

  IT literate

  
  


• 
  

  BICS/IOSH are desirable

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent organisation, communication and people management skills

  Ability to lead and motivate a team

  A full driving licence
