Job Description
Job Title: Architectural Technologist / Technician
Location: London
Department: Interiors
Are you an Architectural Technologist / Technician with a knack for Revit and a passion for interiors? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join an Architecture and Interiors Studios and dive into one of London's most prestigious projects. We're on the lookout for driven professionals ready to take their careers to the next level.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Collaborate closely within a tight-knit project team, contributing positively and communicating effectively.
Support the Project Director in ensuring design documentation meets Building Regulation standards.
Take charge of Stages 3 & 4, producing documentation for Tender & Construction phases.
Deliver technical package drawings, including partitions, joinery, and architectural metalwork.
Keep the Revit model up to date and well-managed.
Coordinate consultant services drawings and models.
Assist in minute-taking & site reporting.
Conduct site visits to monitor project progress.
Eventually, engage with contractors and specialist trade contractors.
Be present on-site to oversee live projects and collaborate with contractor teams to resolve issues.
Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:
Qualified Architectural Technologist or Technician, with solid industry experience (Graduates with strong portfolios will also be considered).
Experience working on Workplace projects is desirable.
Demonstrated experience across all project stages, with a focus on RIBA Stage 3-5.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCad, and Microsoft Office is a must.
Familiarity with other software such as Word, Excel, and Enscape.
Experience with NBS Software, InDesign, Photoshop, and SketchUp is advantageous.
Knowledge and Attributes:
Enjoy preparing, developing, and coordinating drawings and models to support seamless project transitions.
Possess a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative under project leads' guidance.
A team player, adaptable to new ways of working and collaboration.
