Architectural Technician

We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking Architectural Technician to join our clients established and growing manufacturing business in Irvine.
This company is a prominent figure in their industry, their state of the art facility will be equipped with the latest manufacturing technology, and they are looking for a Architectural Technician to join their in-house design team. This is an exciting opportunity to join and support the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead specific Timber Frame design projects while overseeing the Timber Frame and Truss design and estimating team.
Manage all technical aspects of the business, including both internal and external queries.
Work closely with the estimating team, contributing technical knowledge and value engineering at the tender stage.
Collaborate closely with the Design Manager to ensure that all information for manufacture aligns with manufacturing requirements, and that processes are improved where necessary.
Maintain a high level of communication, including liaising with client design teams and external consultants in relation to live projects.
