Architectural Technician / Technologist

Architectural Technician/Technologist to join a growing Architectural and Surveying consultancy located in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

Our client provides a comprehensive range of Architectural, Building Surveying and Project Management services across both the public and private sectors/

As an Architectural Technican/Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the design and development of projects in all of our clients core sectors - industrial, council, educational and healthcare.

Duties of the Architectural Technician / Technologist

• Collaborate with Architects, Architectural Technologists, Building Surveyors, Clients and Consultants to develop projects from inspection to completion at every stage of works architectural designs
• Create detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using the latest CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit
• Utilise Sketchup, Enscads, 3D Studio and other software to create 3D models and renderings
• Assist with project management tasks, including coordinating with contractors and suppliers, contract administration and construction monitoring
• Conduct site visits and surveys
• Prepare Contract information such as JCT, NBS and NEC
• Participate in design meetings and provide input on design concepts
• Assist in the preparation of presentations for clients

Qualifications:

• BSc Architectural Technology or BA/MA Architecture
• Working towards or having obtained membership of CIAT, RICS, RIBA

Desired background for the Architectural Technician / Technologist.

• Proven experience as an Architectural Technician, Architectural Technologist or Architectural Assistant or similar role
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients

This is a full time opportunity with a starting salary of �24,000.00-�30,000.00 per year depending on experience and suitability, On-site parking, Private Healthcare and Gym Membership is also available.
