Approval and Product Support Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturing client based north of York, are looking to recruit a Approval and Product Support Engineer to join the businesson a permanent basis. This is a newly created role that has been created due to expansion of the System Support division and improvement of support to equipment deployed globally.
The successful candidate will be required to provide support in design approval processes including but not limited to being involved in technical brief to ensure correct specifications are taken, testing of final products to ensure they are fit for purpose and engineered to required.
Candidates will also be required to play a key role in development of User Manuals for company products to ensure these are user friendly for clients across the globe
this may involve working on digital content and also producing webinars.
Candidates will ideally be qualified in an Electrical Discipline with knowledge of Mechanical Systems including but not limited to AC/DC systems, Hydraulics, Electrical Control Systems. Candidate must also be confident in understanding electrical and mechanical Schematics
You will also have excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written) as you will be dealing with Engineers in the field and also end user clients to interpret specifications and understand requirements.

Mon - Thurs 0830 - 1630 / Friday 08:30 - 1600
