A key component of the service is our Apprenticeships programme, both with the Council as an employer, and with businesses in the borough.This post holder will be working with the Programme Manager to manage the operational activity for the Council’s award-winning apprenticeship programme, to ensure that the programme delivers good quality apprenticeships and positive progressions for our apprentices, no matter which part of the programme they are engaging in.We are looking for someone who is a great communicator and is passionate about supporting people, while also able to challenge constructively and successfully manage a number of differing priorities. You should be well organised and knowledgeable about apprenticeship delivery, including ensuring that we are able to recruit the right apprentices into the programmes and be committed to achieving high quality outcomes. Ideally you will have some experience of managing apprenticeships or be willing to learn quickly. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter with a ‘can-do’ attitude who is looking for an opportunity to help shape the next phases of the apprenticeship programme in Hackney.This is an exciting time to join our team as we develop our apprenticeship offer further to meet the changing needs of the council.
