Alongside delivering accredited Masters programmes in 2020 they became an accredited independent apprenticeship Training Provider running two programs, Level 7 Senior Leaders and Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor.The RoleWe are looking for a Quality & Compliance Manager to support our clients apprenticeship programmes. Prior experience working with the apprenticeship levy is essential to this role. You will be responsible for ensuring that apprenticeship compliance-based tasks are undertaken to ensure they remain compliant with ESFA funding rules.This role will act as a key liaison between the Apprenticeship, Finance and Management teams to monitor all apprenticeship related business processes and ensure that data compliance requirements are understood and met.Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesApprentice and Employer
* Support the Business Development Manager with prospective employers explaining eligibility and funding criteria.
* To manage the key stakeholders involved in the onboarding process.
* To ensure a smooth application process for each apprentice and employer, make sure compliance with Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) requirements at all times
* To oversee the companies approach to initial and diagnostic assessment, and the procurement of functional skills provision.
* To manage the employer onboarding process, ensuring that levy employers are uploaded to the Apprenticeship Service and have supplied all necessary paperwork
* To manage the student enrolment process and ensure that apprentices are uploaded to the Apprenticeship Service as part of the enrolment process, and that any issues arising from these activities are resolved with the Apprenticeship team and employers where needed.
* To have responsibility for the updating of all signed documentation required for enrolment, the employer evidence pack, creating and developing templates and seeking legal guidance where necessary in response to the changes in funding rules.Quality and Compliance
* Maintain Onefile system for tracking apprentice progress and success in place
* To have responsibility for the production of Apprenticeship performance data for management information purposes; this includes overseeing the dissemination and analysis of Apprenticeship surveys
* Manage the quality of the delivery of Apprentice reviews, workplace projects and assessments and review reports
* Management of EPA organisations, ensuring that Apprenticeship delivery and assessment is appropriately aligned and managed, working closely with the apprenticeship levy team
* Manage relationships with employers and businesses and providing excellent customer care
* To maintain accurate records which are inspection/audit-ready (learner files, employer documentation, policies and procedures) at all times
* Lead on supporting the company in Apprenticeship audits, ensuring that programmes are properly aligned with Apprenticeship standards and end point assessment (EPA)/Ofsted/IfA/OfS requirements and principles
* To keep abreast of Ofsted/IfA/OfS requirements, principles, and updates, building them into Apprenticeship practices to keep the Apprenticeship delivery current through strong communications
* To undertake other administrative duties necessary to ensure compliance, quality and continuous improvement in the programmeFinance
* To complete the monthly ILR upload ensuring the correct funding is received for each participant.
* To ensure accurate information on the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) and alignment with the data return and Management Accounts
* To support the Finance Manager with financial operations relating to Apprenticeships, particularly drawing down funding from student DAS accounts on a monthly basis and updating Apprenticeship budgets.Programme Coordination
* To work with the Programme Leader to generate and maintain programme materials e.g. Welcome Pack, Student Handbook
* Create & maintain student administration systems within the xompany Google calendars, student folders, assessment databases etc
* Administration support of student work such as a submission deadlines and assessment
* Support the coordination, delivery and management of Apprenticeship programmes to ensure a high quality experience and outcome is achieved
* Attend and represent the company at events related to HDA provision and feedback/communicate essential information to the wider teamWho Our Client Are Looking ForKnowledge & ExperiencePrevious experience working with Apprenticeship funding and data, for an independent training provider.Strong working knowledge of Apprenticeship sector funding rules, ILR specification and associated audit evidence requirements.Experience of Apprenticeship Programmes, including Higher Degree ApprenticeshipsExperience of working with the Education and Funding Skills Agency (ESFA),Experience using a individualised learner record (ILR) Learner Entry tool to add, update and track learners progression on a monthly basis then uploading the learner data.Experience to working the the Digital Apprenticeships Service (DAS) AccountGood knowledge of the policy, regulatory and quality assurance environment for Higher Degree Apprenticeships (HDA) - ESFA, Office for Students (OfA), Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), OfstedKnowledge of the Apprenticeship Service and OneFile, or an appropriate alternativeSound understanding of the Apprenticeship monitoring requirement (as outlined in the current Apprenticeship funding rules and technical guidance)Skills & BehavioursHigh level of commitment to accuracy and attention to detailSelf-motivated and able to organise own workload, including working under pressure to meet deadlines.Thirst to learn and grow within an organisation and take challenges head onStrong communication skills with a proven ability to engage proactively within a team, stakeholders and colleagues to ensure key business process and data compliance requirements are understood and met.Confident speaking with employers and participantsA positive 'can do' attitudeSelf-sufficient, flexible and able to work and thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to prioritise and proactively manage workloadA proactive approach to problem solvingTakes personal responsibility and accountability within a teamA team playerA huge interest in people, relationship building and communication is essentialPaul Feldman is the National Skills Agency Data Protection Officer.
