You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary, plus excellent benefits, and development opportunities within our established Finance team. You will have the opportunity to study 1 day at week at one of our training providers on their Associate Project Manager Higher Apprenticeship. You will be paid a competitive Apprentice salary starting at £19,336. You'll also be eligible for our internal bonus scheme, as well as any company-wide pay increases that are offered during this time.About the role:As a Project Manager Apprentice, you will be supporting delivery of projects within the finance team at South West Water, Bristol Water and Bournemouth WaterYou will play an essential role, delivering our key projects within the finance team. You will be managing projects throughout their lifecycle from conception to submissionThis is a pivotal role within the finance team that will enable the finance team to deliver on key deliverables and meet the team’s strategic goalsThis is an exciting time to join South West Water, as we bring together the best of the best, after our SES acquisition. You will be supporting the wider Finance and regulation teams on multiple projects and helping us to achieve our ambitious delivery plansYou’ll be joining us as we enter a time of innovation, creativity, and vision. This is a tremendous opportunity and the projects you will be working on can only add value and help preserve the future of our natural environment.What you'll be doing: Provide end-to-end project management working closely with stakeholders across the businessContribute to the development of papers to quantify risks, resources, and delivery constraintsApply robust governance arrangements at all levels of project management and change control. Accurately reporting on progress throughout project lifecycleDevelop strong collaborative working arrangements with the wider programme, internal and external stakeholdersPromote continuous improvement and innovation to improve the delivery of projectsTrack and monitor the progress of projectsApply project management tools and team collaboration techniques appropriately to effectively manage the project through the change lifecycle to successful delivery, delivering the outcomes as per the business caseDevelop and implement delivery plans that are appropriately organised to delivery project objectives within defined parametersProduce and actively maintain good quality project documentation, including plans, actions, decisions, change requests, incidents, and governance in line with the project objectives to ensure successful deliveryBook and track audits of the project’s data.Whats in it for you:This isn’t just a job, this is a career; the opportunities to develop and grow your career with us are endless.
