Country:United Kingdom Country:United KingdomLocation:Watkins Hire Ltd Falkirk, 24-28 Burnbank Industrial Estate, Burnbank Road, Falkirk, FK2 7PE, UK.Role: HVAC Engineer ApprenticeLocation: Falkirk Contract type: Full time, Apprenticeship Carrier is currently recruiting for a Service Engineer Apprentice (Chillers) based in the Falkirk area.Carrier Rental Systems (part of the global Carrier Corporation) operate throughout the UK and across the rest of the world, providing a range of market leading, specialist temperature control rental products to a variety of clients and industries.What will you be doing?As a Service Engineer Apprentice, the main goal of this role is to learn and understand the refrigeration/ air conditioning industry with the aim of qualifying as a HVAC Service Technician.Working on Water Chillers and commercial and industrial Heat Pumps.Attend and participate in customer site visits, shadowing one of our qualified TechniciansWorking alongside an experienced engineer who will be your coach & mentorLearning about refrigeration and air conditioning systems.Working on fans and air handling equipment.Helping to troubleshoot and support technically challenging breakdowns, both in person and remote.Working on electrical power supplies and control panels.What do we offer?Much higher salary than the minimum wage for ApprenticesYear 1, £16,000 per annumA range of fully funded study options once you complete your apprenticeship.
