What you will do in your working dayJoining our growing practise your duties will include:Prepare sole trader, partnership & limited company accounts.Review & prepare VAT returns.Carry out clients bookkeeping duties.Complete self assessment tax returns.Prepare management accounts.Operate payroll for clients.Deal with clients and their queries.Support the business with any other duties to ensure client service is at highest priority.Some experience in an accountancy practice is a must to be able to complete the duties above and either already holding a level 3 AAT or part qualfied.The training you will be gettingYou will complete the level 4 Professional Accountant Programme on day realease from the employer for 15months.Modules will include: Applied Accounting, Drafting Financial Statements, Internal Accounting Systems, Business Tax And Personal Tax.Attending the EMA hub based in Derby for classroom sessions delivered by specialist trainers.You will be supported by a dedicated mentor through your portfolio of work and end point assessment.What to expect at the end of your apprenticeshipPermanent position and career development.Requirements and prospectsDesired skills and personal qualitiesAttention to detail, Organisation skills, Analytical skills, Team working, Level 3 AAT Qualification, Bookkeeping knowledge, Strong IT Skills, Customer service skills, Knowledge of ExcelQualificationsGCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 4 or C) EssentialOther Level 3 AAT (Grade Pass) EssentialThings to considerWe offer birthday day off , Auto-enrolment pension,Discretionary Christmas bonuses and operate flexible working hours.
