As an Apprentice Account Manager at Ward, you are aspiring leader with a passion for building long-lasting client relationships and developing a skill set to progress within the business.In this role you will, be responsible for assisting an Account Management team in managing several high-profile portfolios for Ward’s London business unit. You will have the ability to represent Ward’s Account Management team and their business strategies, as well as having the commitment in delivering service excellence, contributing to the efficiency and service provided to the account portfolios.Learning the Ward way to operate and client relationship management should be at the forefront of everything you do.Base / Location: London with travel to client sites frequently. Visit Chatham HQ on occasions.Key responsibilitiesAssist the Account Management team to ensure that the clients are kept informed, and the client relationship nurtured at all times.Assist with the collating of information and data to populate reports for the Account Management team.P&L Finance reviews.Client weekly visit regime to be followed.Be a point of contact for clients and the conduit between them and the Account Management team.Develop innovation, alternative solutions, and contract improvement.Attend regular client review meetings and assist in monitoring SLAs and KPIs, identifying opportunities and/or risk.Implement innovation and improvements to client contracts and monitor the results of such initiatives and report back to the Operations Director.Participate in the management on-call rota.Officer engagements and welfare visitsIncident investigationsAssist the Account Management team in disciplinaries.Knowledge & SkillsAble to adapt to different priorities quickly and maintain good attention to detail to ensure image and standards are maintained (Essential)Excellent organisational and time management skills (Essential)High level of self-motivation and problem solving (Essential)Display excellent customer service and relationship building qualities (Essential)Competent user of Outlook and basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (Desired)ExperienceExperience or working within a team that requires multi-tasking and varied skill sets (Essential)Worked operationally in a corporate security contract (Essential)Proven experience on presentation skills (Desired)QualificationsGain Operations or Departmental Manager Level 5 through the Ward apprenticeship scheme (Desired)Who We Are:Ward Security provides security services solutions to a range of UK businesses.
