You will work on novel Deep-Learning Neural Networks for machine vision applications, serving key clients in the UK public sector and defense and aerospace industries.Our eDNNs bridge the gap between current Transformer and CNN solutions and future Spiking Neural Networks (SNN). These eDNNs address challenges in computer vision and object recognition, with continuous enhancements from our neuroscience-inspired research.Joining us means engaging in cutting-edge research, directly impacting product development and customer relationships. Your contributions will help achieve our business goals and have a measurable impact.Job Responsibilities:Enhance software with the latest machine learning/computer vision algorithms.Apply knowledge of Transformers, CNNs, and image analysis to develop enhanced neural networks.Customize and implement solutions for demanding customers.Contribute to software development and practical problem-solving.Participate in defining the software development roadmap and delivering core components.Collaborate with research colleagues and support commercial teams in developing business opportunities.Meet project milestones and deliverables.Job Skills & Qualifications:Required:Strong experience in Python and PytorchAbility to create and explain customized neural network solutions.Proficiency in discussing and applying the latest deep learning/computer vision research.Experience in developing Transformer and CNN-based applications.Proven track record in designing and scaling high-quality software.Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced engineering team.Proficiency in best development practices, version control, CI/CD pipelines.Preferred:Experience with Transformer or CNN neural networks for real-time object detection, tracking, segmentation, or pose estimation.Experience modifying or creating novel Transformer and CNN architectures.Experience with aerial or satellite images.SCRUM or agile development methodology experience.Experience with Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes.Familiarity with GANs and synthetic data generation.Experience with Unreal or Blender and 3D modeling.Experience with academic/industrial research and UK public sector clients.Ability to pass security clearance (BPSS, preferably SC level or above)Strong academic background; MSc or PhD in computer vision/machine learning.Publications in top computer vision journals or conferences.Experience in a start-up environment.Services advertised by Gold Group are those of an Agency and/or an Employment Business.We will contact you within the next 14 days if you are selected for interview.
