Alongside 25 day’s annual leave, SLR offer flexible, agile and hybrid working which enables staff to tailor hours worked around core hours, and our family friendly policies help balance the needs of professional and family life.The roleWithin a matrix-managed environment, you will have global duties within a small team who look after all aspects of Application Support for our critical business systems:Application Support, Collaboration and Teamwork:Partner with Service Delivery and Business Systems teams to champion a programme of enhancement and standardisation for our critical global business applicationsPlay a pivotal role within the Global IT Team, providing global assistance to business users for critical systemsoOrganise regular training sessions, enhancing team knowledge of current and upcoming tech trendsStay ahead of the technological curve, ensuring the team can harness modern tools effectivelyFoster a culture of mentorship, where seasoned team members guide and uplift their peersEngage in group workshops and brainstorming sessions, emphasising group problem-solvingImplement a structured feedback system post-training to refine and adapt content to our team's evolving needsIdentify individual strengths and growth areas among users, offering tailored assistance and training sessions that cater to each user's unique needsTechnical Expertise and Process Optimisation:•Harness your technical abilities and in-depth business process understanding to emerge as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in core systems such as Risk Management, Finance and Project ERP, HR, and Training platforms•Utilise technical expertise in SQL databases, relational database reporting, and workflow tools like SharePoint to manage and optimise data and processes•Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced utilisation of business systems, driving efficiency gainsAbout youWe're looking for professionals with strong technical skills, dedication to outstanding customer service, and extensive experience assisting essential business systems. In this position, you'll ensure the stability and efficiency of our critical systems globally, managing technical assistance and aiding users to optimise the use of systems.Essential qualifications and experiences we are looking for include:Extensive expertise overseeing end-user Application Support for critical business systems, specifically within finance, HR, and risk management domainsProficiency in areas such as configuration management, identity and access management, active directory, collaboration platforms, and other M365-based services such as Power Automate, SharePoint and TeamsA demonstrated track record of successfully driving and reporting on adopting workplace technology solutionsProven experience thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments, with a consistent record of delivering resultsMastery of data analysis using tools like Excel and an advanced skill set in Microsoft SQL developmentDiversity, Equity, and Inclusion at SLRWe are committed to being an equal opportunities employer, and our expectations go beyond purely complying with legislation.
