Application Engineer / Project Engineer / Technical Engineer required to join a world leading Engineering Manufacturer.
Application Engineer / Project Engineer / Technical Engineer will provide first-line technical support to customers and internal teams via phone, email, and on-site visits, diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
Application Engineer / Project Engineer / Technical Engineer will have a strong mechanical engineering background within project, application, or technical support, ideally within process markets such as Energy, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food & Bev, Water & Wastewater, General, Mining, or similar engineering industry.

Application Engineer / Project Engineer / Technical Engineer Role:

• To provide first-line technical support to customers and internal teams via phone, email, and on-site visits, diagnosing and resolving technical issues promptly.
• Review and interpret process documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, chemical compatibility data sheets, project specifications, and tender documents.
• Develop detailed technical proposals for pump and pump systems, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project management for technical reviews of tender specifications and compliance checks.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication, timely issue resolution, and providing training on product usage and best practices.
• Laise with various Engineering departments

Application Engineer / Project Engineer / Technical Engineer Requirements:

• Proven experience in an engineering role within process markets such as Energy, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food & Bev, Water & Wastewater, General, Mining, or similar engineering industry.
• Experience as a Technical Engineer / Project Engineer / Application Engineer / Production Engineer / Support Engineer / Project Manager / Systems Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Test Engineer / Development Engineer or similar technical engineering position.
• A Technical Engineering qualification is advantageous, i.e Degree, HNC, HND
• The candidate will have a mechanical engineering background, such as, pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, valves, rotating equipment, or similar mechanical engineering background.
• Proven experience in project management and technical review of tender specifications.
• Willing to travel to customer sites across the UK and Europe when required (very rare).
