The role in a nutshell
We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Solution Technical Lead to spearhead our Anaplan Center of Excellence (CoE).
This role involves leading a team of Anaplan professionals and ensuring the successful deployment and integration of Anaplan solutions across various business units.
More specifically, you will be expected to:
Lead the development and technical implementation of Anaplan models and solutions, aligning with business needs and objectives;
Oversee build and mentor a team of Anaplan Model Builders, ensuring best practices in model building and data integration;
Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions and regions to identify and translate business requirements into effective Anaplan solutions;
Manage the overall Anaplan landscape within the organization, ensuring seamless integration with other business systems;
Drive the adoption of Anaplan across the organization, providing training and support to end-users;
Stay abreast of the latest Anaplan features and updates, and leverage these to enhance business processes;
Lead the strategic planning and execution of Anaplan-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Do you have what it takes?
Bachelor’s orgraduates degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, software engineering or economics;
4+year modelling with Anaplan or end-to-end Anaplan implementations;
Anaplan certification (Solution Architect or Master Anaplan);
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders;
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
Experience in project management and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Language : As you will be part of a global team, you must be able to communicate fluently in English (verbal and written). Knowledge of other languages such as French, German and/or Spanish is desirable.
Travel: Some occasional travelling will be required.

Recently, Glencore’s Zinc division has embarked in a system replacement globally with the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA and Coupa as the main backbone to support industrial business operations globally. The solution has been deployed in some parts of the business in Q4 2023 and we are continuing our journey to roll-out the global solution to all sites to cover Australia, Spain, UK, Germany, Italy and Canada.
The global AMS team is formed by functional teams located in the north of Spain, Australia and Canada, combined with a central team located in Malaga. This new Group supports the business users globally from an applications management support perspective.
