In this capacity, you will play a crucial role in delivering essential data-driven insights to various stakeholders within the Logistics domain. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, including data collection, thorough analysis, development of reporting tools and aiding in data-informed decision-making processes. By utilizing your analytical skills, you will contribute significantly to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of Ocado Logistics' operations, enabling informed choices that drive the success of the entire supply chain process.You will be:Your role will include a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at enhancing operational efficiency using data and decision-making. This includes offering data, conducting thorough data analysis, creating reporting mechanisms, and providing support for data-driven decision-making to stakeholders in the Logistics domain as well as potentially extending assistance to other sectors within the business. Collaborating closely with the Data Services and Technology teams, you will contribute to the consolidation and integration of data from multiple sources within Logistics. By delving into data trends and conducting root cause analyses, you will actively drive the enhancement of key performance indicators (KPIs). Your involvement in cross-departmental projects, especially those with significant data or analytics components, will involve presenting outcomes to stakeholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for addressing operational requests from different stakeholders while adhering to best practices. Furthermore, occasional visits to various CFC sites across the UK might be expected as part of your role.About youThe ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate a well-rounded skill set that aligns with the demands of the position. Essential attributes include a proven track record as an Analyst, ideally within a logistics capacity, showcasing your expertise in this domain. Your adeptness in data analysis and problem-solving is pivotal to the role's success. Good technical skills, such as SQL, VBA, or other relevant programming/scripting languages would be helpful. Familiarity with utilizing and constructing Business Intelligence (BI) tools is valued. Your attention to detail and astute commercial awareness will contribute to your effectiveness in the role. Crucially, you must possess the ability to effectively collaborate with various departments, particularly in situations that have operational significance. Exceptional communication skills are integral, enabling seamless interactions with stakeholders.
