This global industry-leading facilities organisation is undergoing extensive growth plans and is seeking an ambitious senior buyer to join its growing procurement team. You will be working within a highly strategic procurement function amongst best-in-class procurement professionals where you'll gain invaluable daily development.

Throughout this position you will be supporting and leading on a diverse range of procurement projects with a key focus on strategic procurement activities in relation to category management, negotiation, continuous improvement and change management, providing an invaluable skillset. Due to an excellent structure in place there are ample opportunities for future progression with a clear pathway to more senior positions.

Senior Buyer responsibilities…

• Support on a range of strategic procurement projects across the end-to-end procurement function predominantly in relation to indirect FM procurement covering soft and hard services
• Ensure excellent stakeholder relationship management, including driving cross-functional collaboration to aid effective procurement project delivery
• Undertake a range of strategic day-to-day procurement activities, from category management and contract management to negotiation and procurement project management

Senior Buyer requirements…

• Demonstrable experience across the end-to-end procurement, ideally with some exposure to indirect facilities management procurement or construction procurement, but not a necessity
• Strong skills surrounding stakeholder relationship management, strategic sourcing and negotiation
• A desire to work within a fast-paced environment where thinking outside the box is encouraged
