Airside Driver

Lycon is looking for Airside Drivers for our client in the heathrow area.
You will be working full-time at the Cargo Freight area in Heathrow Terminal 4, transferring cargo from the warehouse to other areas inside the airport perimeter.
Line of Business: HGV Class 2 or 7.5T Driver

Salary: £14.50/hr - £17.04/hr
Shift:
* 8.5 hours per day minimum
* 4on - 2 off
Hours: Despite being day shifts, the starting hours will change often, ranging from the following:
* 5am - 4pm and any time inbetween.
* Mixture of early and lates
Now accepting normal drivers! No HGV experience needed! Must have:
- Valid UK driver's license
- Minimum 2 years of forklift driving experience

Must have:
* Experience driving heavy vehicles
* A valid driver's license
* No more than 6 points on your driver's license
A HGV license is not essential, but if you do have a HGV license, your Tacho card and CPC card must be valid.
Required skills:
* Previous experience of airfreight work - desired but not essential
* A good level of fitness - essential
* Able to understand and follow instructions
* Good communication both written and verbal
* Have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
* Ability to work under pressure.
Other Job Information:
* Free HGV 2 training
* Full Cargo Operative training will be provided.
* Criminal record and five year employment history checks will be made before you are able to start work at the airport.
A HMRC Tax statement will need to be obtained before an interview, and CRB checks will be made before you are able to start work along with 5 Years work referencing
