A leading infrastructure and engineering consultancy is seeking a talented Airport Planner to join their growing team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from large-scale airport masterplans to cutting-edge eVTOL urban air mobility initiatives.
What you'll do:
- Develop airport masterplans and conduct feasibility studies.
- Analyze airfield layout, terminal design, and surface access needs.
- Lead on vertiport design and Urban Air Mobility Masterplanning projects (a plus!).
- Conduct data analysis, demand forecasting, and capacity assessments.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other consultants.
- Support business development activities, including proposal preparation.
- 2+ years of experience in airport or vertiport planning
- A relevant bachelor's degree (postgraduate in air transport a plus).
- Membership in a relevant professional body (preferred).
- Knowledge of airport planning principles and regulations (CAA, EASA, ICAO, IATA).
- Experience with airport planning software (CAST, AirTop) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to travel internationally for project assignments.
