Aircraft Mechanic

MPI have a requirement for Aircraft Fitters to work on site in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire

These roles are ongoing as per Customer requirement.

Rate of pay is dependant on experience, so is negotiable and this will be discussed at the time of application/interview- These roles are deemed out of scope of IR35

Contractors to provide own tooling.

The basic hours will be 45 within the hours of 6am and 6:30pm with the potential to earn up to 50-60 hours total in overtime every week (overtime is not guaranteed)

Monday to Friday days�

There is one unpaid break (0.5hr) and 2 (0.25hr) paid breaks every day.

Duties:�

To perform �non-routine maintenance tasks on various aircraft components and systems.

Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs in accordance with regulatory standards and manufacturer guidelines.

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects and adherence to project specifications.

Document maintenance activities accurately and maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and component histories.

Uphold safety protocols and quality standards to ensure the reliability and airworthiness of aircraft.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Aircraft Mechanic or similar role in the aviation industry. (minimum 5 Years)

Proficiency in aircraft maintenance procedures, including troubleshooting, repairs, and component replacement.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards governing aircraft maintenance operations.

Precise attention to detail and adherence to quality control measures.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience with Boeing 737NG/Max & Airbus A319, A320 desirable
