Air Freight Export Clerk

Our client is a well-established and independent freight forwarder and import customs broker. With an established solid and varied client base they are able to handle the safe transportation of goods, whether that is via air, sea or road freight worldwide at highly competitive prices.
They are now recruiting at their Manchester office which is based at Manchester Airport for an experienced Air Freight Exports Clerk
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational tasks and ensuring the successful transport of customer freight consignments to their destination. Your role will encompass the complete process including airline bookings, arranging collections & deliveries, all required export Customs entries, and continuous interaction with customers. You will liaise with overseas offices and partner transport providers, negotiate rates with suppliers and complete all required documentation through the supply chain.
To be considered for this opportunity you will have previous experience within Air Export Freight Forwarding, excellent communication skills, a flexible approach with the ability to develop effective relationships across all levels.
Benefits
Salary Range: Negotiable / Between �25k and �35k depending on experience
Company Bonus scheme, aimed at personal performance and also linked to company performance, at the discretion of management.
Hours of Work: 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
