This is an exciting opportunity to apply for a key leadership role as one of our AHP Senior Leaders in NHS Forth Valley. This post is specifically to strategically lead, operationally manage, and support the OTs, physiotherapists, dieticians and speech and language therapists based within our Acute Services.Our acute services include ED and front door wards and downstream wards including surgical, medical, aging & health, stroke, orthopaedics and our National Treatment Centre. We would welcome applications from AHPs who are committed to and get excited by improving services. Working in collaboration across services & organisations and supporting others to deliver the very best care to those we serve.There will be a particular emphasis to develop a model of assurance for the care AHPs in acute services deliver, and to develop the workforce, skill mix and capacity to allow it to meet the needs of our population when they are within our acute setting.We have a strong NMAHP senior leadership structure including a supportive AHP leadership network across the whole system. The successful candidate(s) will be HCPC registered.On-call maybe required going forward and is under review.NHS Forth Valley is embracing contemporary working. As and when required the post holder will be expected to participate in twilight or weekend working.
