Our Agriculture team represents clients ranging from individuals to private companies and landed estates. We advise and act on rural property transactions of all kinds, from farm sales and purchases to promotion and option agreements. We are specialised in advising farm partnerships and work with accountants to ensure consistency of approach.
Our team is based predominantly from the Lincoln and Stratford-Upon–Avon hubs, however we work closely with our other offices to service clients with agricultural property needs.
As part of the teams expansion plans we are looking to recruit at various levels within the team and we welcome applications at Solicitor, Associate and Legal Director levels as all will be considered. The positions will focus on servicing our East Midlands client base therefore it is being recruited on a hybrid basis with the combination of both, home working and from our new Lincoln hub.
What You Will Be Doing
Working as part of a high-performing, supportive team providing assistance on all aspects of Agricultural Property work including buying and selling farms and estates, agricultural tenancies, easements, bank security work, and advising landowners on diversification projects such as commercial leases and selling land for development.
You’ll work with our wider team on large complex deals, build up your own caseload and help our team to deliver a fantastic service to our clients.
What You Will Need
Previous experience from Agricultural property or Commercial Property transactional work
A minimum of 3 years PQE
A desire to enhance and build client relationships and exceed expectations
Excellent communication skills
A high degree of initiative and the ability to cope in a fast-moving environment
Excellent organisational and prioritising skills
