The Role
The role will see you Joining a highly-regarded law firm deeply rooted in the rich landscape of Essex. The agriculture and estates team has been dedicated to supporting agricultural businesses of all sizes for many years, making a significant impact on the region's farming community.
Understanding that farming goes beyond being just a business, the Agriculture and Estates team work for private individuals, the majority of whom are farmers and landowners, and provides comprehensive legal services tailored to their unique needs and challenges.
Whether you are a newly qualified lawyer ready to embark on a fulfilling career or an experienced practitioner seeking a new direction, this could be your opportunity to gain specialised expertise in this.
You will develop a diverse skill set within the agricultural sector, working closely with farmers, landowners, and agri-businesses. Your caseload will encompass collaboration with our private client and property teams, working on succession planning, fishing rights, farm partnerships, conveyancing, agricultural tenancies, renewable schemes, financing, and more.
The Ideal Candidate:
You will be a qualified solicitor with at least 1 year PQE (there is no upper limit on PQE)
You will have experience in practising agricultural law, or, you may be seeking a change in your legal career and have a genuine interest in the rural way of life.
