Agricultural Engineer

Agricultural engineer required. My client is a leading supplier and maintainer of a range of agricultural equipment that is looking to hire an experienced agricultural engineer to increase their service coverage in the west. The ideal candidate will ideally have strong agricultural machinery experience, solid understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and will be based within a commutable distance of Montgomery.A full driving licence is required for this role.Agricultural Engineer Position OverviewPerform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment in a workshop and/or a field-based environmentVisiting customers sites across Shropshire, Cheshire and Mid WalesComplete all reports and administration required in a timely manner and to a high qualityFollow all safety rules and regulations.Complete all training programs to further develop skills and knowledgeMaintain a clean work environment, and assists with overall workshop organization Agricultural Engineer Position RequirementsPrevious experience performing service repairs on tractors and telehandlersPrevious experience performing repairs and maintenance on hydraulic systemsGood understanding and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsHas good knowledge and can use standard computer applications, internet, and manufacturer service portalsAbility to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposesA full, clean driving licenseBased within a commutable distance of Montgomery Agricultural Engineer Position Remuneration£14.00 - £18.00 hourly rate dependant on experienceMonday - Friday 8-5 (42.5 hours a week)Overtime availableCompany Van, laptop and phone all provided28 Days holidayPensionBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
