Job Description
We are seeking an Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master who is passionate about driving projects to success, facilitating agile ceremonies, and ensuring effective collaboration across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a technical background, enabling them to understand the complexities and nuances of software development, and have proven experience in agile project management. This role requires a dynamic individual who can adapt to rapidly changing environments, enforce deadlines, and inspire teams to achieve their best.
Job Qualifications:
A technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in an agile project management role, preferably within a software development or IT environment.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile project management certification.
Strong technical acumen, with an ability to understand and communicate complex technical issues.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated leadership skills, with a capacity to lead by example and influence without authority.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence) and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
A background in software development or experience working closely with engineering teams.
Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope in a high-growth tech environment.
Responsibilities
Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, sprint reviews) to ensure clear communication and effective project management.
Manage JIRA; oversee project setups, backlog maintenance, and sprint tracking to ensure organization and visibility.
Act as a liaison between teams, ensuring efficient communication and follow-up on action items.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, adjusting as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
Drive projects towards timely delivery, identifying and removing blockers, and maintaining team focus and motivation.
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, fostering an environment of teamwork and continuous improvement.
