Job DescriptionAgent Bank Network Manager - JP Morgan - London - 5 months contract - Hybrid - PAYEWe are seeking an Agent Bank Network Manager to join JP Morgan's Wholesale Payments division on an initial 5 months contract in London to support regional lines of business coordination and product oversight for our global market network of payment provider relationships. The successful candidate will have experience working with Agent banks and have strong strategy management experience, and data analysis and reporting skills.Evolving our network in tandem with the overall business strategy and as payments & money movements grow and evolve globally, is critical to our continued growth and enhancing our competitive capabilities. This is a high visibility role which will require understanding of basic operational aspects of payments systems, a knowledge of all JPM payments products, very careful attention to detail, project management discipline and a partnership mindset, in order to align company priorities with the capabilities and functioning of our Cash Correspondent and Financial Market Infrastructure (FMI) relationships.The primary function is to support smooth operation of our memberships and participation in new and existing payment networks, in partnership with global and regional Product, Network Management and Risk partners. This will include participation in working groups, preparation of high-quality materials for senior committees and work on ad-hoc project teams.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Core ResponsibilitiesPerform analysis on provider & network capabilities and assist in formulating recommendations on global partners based on both long and short-term business objective, in partnership with regional Product and Network Management colleagues.Track and close business-related items as part of initial and ongoing network reviewsReview volume, cost and other data including areas to expand vs. consolidate relationshipsAddress potential issues in operations with partners, and work through solutionsMaintain metrics of success, with continued tracking and monitoring of existing partnershipsSupport negotiation of pricing and product offering with our partnersResearch, understand and apply market trends, payments innovation and evolving end-user needs in maintaining and supporting network strategy for the businessAssist in preparation of Product materials on network management forums and provide stand-in representation when required.Project ManagementEngage and execute on business deliverables as part of overall network governance and risk management processesMeet all new initiative delivery schedules / targetsHold internal stakeholders accountable for deliverablesCoordinate internal stakeholder approval, management and governanceQualificationsPayments Product, Business Risk, Payments Risk Consulting or Operations Roles with Global and Cross-Border payments experienceReporting and Analysis experienceMS Excel - especially pivot tables - advanced levelPrior experience with initiatives/ projects to resolve diverse problem-solving challengesA track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative and achieving challenging goalsA bias towards action and focus on deliveringOutstanding presentation and communication skillsCreative thinking and problem solving with internal and external partnersStrong project management skillsConsiders risk in interactions with clients/ partners and controls risks; understands the regulatory environment faced by the businessBachelors degree or equivalent required*Please note this role will be working on a hybrid model of 3 days minimum office based and up to 2 days work from home. You'll require your own PC/Laptop as they are not provided when working from home.*
