Aero Performance Engineer (onsite USA Opportunity)

Job Description
**This is an opportunity for an onsite position in Indianapolis for a top IndyCar team**
We are supporting one of the top IndyCar teams in the US who are looking for a strong Aero Performance Engineer to join them onsite in the US. Unfortunately, to be able to obtain the relevant Visa, you must hold a UK Passport to be eligible.
Responsibilities:
Analyse aero data to find any weakness or opportunities to improve vehicle performance
Collaborate with software and tool developers to improve the analysis process
Travel to race and testing events
Guide the usage of CFD to support vehicle modelling and understanding
Plan, carry out and analyse aero testing for the vehicle
Strong coordination with Vehicle Performance, Race Engineers and Mechanics
Requirements:
UK Passport
3+ years professional motorsport experience
Strong data analytics skills
Able to bridge the gap between theory and practical
Understanding of race car set up and simulation techniques
Excellent wind tunnel experience
Knowledge of trade off in car set up concerning aero, mechanical and tyres.
