An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work in an exceptional urgent care centre based in the Winson Green, Birmingham area. You will be working for one of UK's leading, reputable health care providersThis special care centre is committed to giving you high quality healthcare. They offer a range of health services and information as well as advice and treatment for a range of illnesses and minor injuries, with or without an appointment**To be considered for this position you must be NMC registered and have a V300 qualification with previous experience in a primary care**As the Advanced Nurse Practitioner your key responsibilities include:Assess own learning needs through the process of performance review and develops key annual objectives which support the delivery and improvement of the serviceTo develop and enhance clinical and leadership skills as appropriate, undertaking in-house and formal training to ensure competency in all aspects of care. To be aware of all aspects of clinical governance and risk management with regards to the enhanced role of the nurse practitionerMaintain clinical credibility by demonstrating continually professional development and undertake training and education as required, ensuring highest standard of evidence based clinical skillsUndertake teaching sessions and presentations to groups of staff; be involved with the training and education of other staff with regards to the role of the UCC and ENP/ANP'sTo adapt and develop the role of Nurse Practitioner, ensuring flexibility and willingness to expand the role as requiredThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:Experience of clinical leadershipAble to demonstrate teaching and assessing skillsExperience of service specific advanced clinical skillsExperience of working within multi professional settings contributing to effective team workingAble to demonstrate adherence to evidence-based practiceExperience of working independently in a healthcare roleV300 qualification with previous experience in a Primary Care settingYou will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, ExcelThe successful Advanced Nurse Practitioner will receive an excellent salary up to £60,000 per annum.
